Members of Young Christians Reaching Out (YCRO) — a Jos-based Christian youth organisation — recently took their Young, Gifted and Called outreach to Langkuk Memorial Secondary School, and the impact was undeniable.
YCRO exists to create a space for young Christians to serve God through their gifts — music, spoken word, poetry, and film — while reaching out to students and communities across Pankshin and Plateau State. Their vision is simple: that young people encounter God, discover their purpose, and become a redemptive presence in their communities.
At Langkuk Memorial Secondary School, the team brought that vision to life. Through creative performances, testimonies, and a message that rang clear — you are not here by accident; you are young, gifted, and called — they met students right where they are, speaking directly into questions of identity, faith, and purpose.
For Nigerian secondary school students navigating real pressures daily, this kind of intentional outreach is rare and deeply needed. YCRO didn’t wait for the youth to come to them — they showed up.
