Friday, The Ambassador dropped his project The Invitation. It’s a nine-track album that adds up to 32 minutes. This is his first project released since his album When Sacred Meets Secular in 2016.
The Ambassador started his solo career in the year 2000 with his project Christology. That album was with Cross Movement Records and he was signed to them until 2009. Other projects he released at that time were The Thesis, and The Chop Chop: From Milk To Meat. Some of his most successful singles have been “Gimme Dat!,” “I Love You Jesus,” “Checkin’ For My God Remix,” and “My Clothes, My Hair.” He’s been featured in songs with the likes of Trip Lee, Da’ Truth (Emmanuel), and The Cross Movement.
Recently he has made appearances at Flavor Fest, Kingdom Choice Awards, and even KB’s Glory Nights.
He has said this album’s goal is to make two Invitations: to invite God down to us and be central and reign supreme, and to invite the culture to our table as we feast with Him.
